The Bread of Life

The objective of this study is to look at the so called deity aspect of Yahshua. Many theological views present Yahshua as an angel [holy spirit], the father, or a separate and unique personality making up part of a godhead that left his thrown in heaven to come to earth as a man to redeem his creation. We will review several scriptures which have been presented out of their original context to draw these conclusions and answer the following questions.

  • Has anyone ever seen Elohim or heard his voice?
  • Who gave the law to Moshe?
  • What does the title Elohim represent?
  • Why did religious leaders deify Yahshua?
  • What is the role of the divine order?
  • Who was Yahshua the Anointed?
  • Prophetically who came down from heaven?
  • What is the process of redemption?

This study specifically deals with the divinity of the Anointed, which caused a huge debate among the Gnostics in the second and third century. The Gnostics represent the earliest form of Christianity and some of them believe the Anointed was of the same substance as the father, meaning he was the father, and others believed he was not god but more than man. This debate went on for some time until the mid forth century when the emperor Constantine brought everyone together to settle this dispute, they voted and by majority determined that the Anointed was indeed god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit, three persons in one. This spawned various religious schools of thought as it relates to the divinity of the Anointed using scriptures mainly found in the Pauline letters.

First we need to understand that the epistles were not written until almost thirty years after Yahshua’s death, and though they do document what occurred, they are often written in story form.

NO ONE HAS SEEN ELOHIM AT ANY TIME. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. (John 1:18 RNWEB)
NO ONE HAS SEEN ELOHIM AT ANY TIME. If we love one another, Elohim remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us. (1 John 4:12 RNWEB)
The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. YOU HAVE NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME, NOR SEEN HIS FORM. (John 5:37 RNWEB)

We just read three separate scriptures including one spoken by Yahshua himself stating that no one has seen Elohim or heard his voice.

He said to Moshe, “Come up to YAH, you, and Aharon, Nadav, and Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra’el; and worship from a distance. Moshe alone shall come near to YAH, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him.” Moshe came and told the people all the words of YAH, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which YAH has spoken will we do.” (Exodus 24:1-3 RNWEB)
Then Moshe, Aharon, Nadav, Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra’el went up. THEY SAW THE ELOHIM OF YISRA’EL. Under his feet was like a paved work of sappir stone, like the skies for clearness. He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Yisra’el. THEY SAW ELOHIM, and ate and drank. (Exodus 24:9-11 RNWEB)

It’s written twice that they saw Elohim, however Yochanan and Yahshua both said hundreds of years later no one has seen Elohim or heard his voice.

YAH said to Moshe, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the tables of stone with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.” Moshe rose up with Yehoshua, his servant, and Moshe went up onto Elohim’s Mountain. (Exodus 24:12-13 RNWEB)

The law was given to Moshe, but who actually gave it to him?

Which of the prophets didn’t your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers. YOU RECEIVED THE TORAH AS IT WAS ORDAINED BY ANGELS, and didn’t keep it!” (Acts 7:52-53 RNWEB)
FOR IF THE WORD SPOKEN THROUGH ANGELS PROVED STEADFAST, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense; (Hebrews 2:2 RNWEB)

It was angels that gave the law and spoke the word.

YAH said to Moshe, “I will do this thing also that you have spoken; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” He said, “Please show me your glory.” (Exodus 33:17-18 RNWEB)

Moshe had already seen YAH’s glory, which is fire, however here he’s asking to see something different and unique that no man has ever seen before. He wants to see the actual likeness and shape of Elohim.

He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of YAH before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.” He said, “You cannot see my face, for man may not see me and live.” YAH also said, “Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock. It will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by; then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back; but my face shall not be seen.” (Exodus 33:19-23 RNWEB)

We know that Yahshua told us long after this event no one has heard Elohim’s voice or seen his form at anytime. Consequently, there is someone being seen, talking with great authority, giving direction, that gave the law and commandments.

“YAH possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old. (Proverbs 8:22 RNEB)

Whoever this verse is talking about has been around for a very long time, he was there at the beginning of YAH’s work, and we know from scripture that YAH had no beginning and has no end.

I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed. (Proverbs 8:23 RNWEB)

This was not YAH talking, this is someone of lesser authority and power talking about his relationship with him.

When there were no depths, I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was brought forth; while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world. When he established the heavens, I was there; when he set a circle on the surface of the deep, when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong, when he gave to the sea its boundary, that the waters should not violate his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth; then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him, Rejoicing in his whole world. MY DELIGHT WAS WITH THE SONS OF MEN. (Proverbs 8:24-31 RNWEB)

This created being is talking about how YAH delighted in him, and then it ends with how this created beings delight was with the sons of men.

“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO KEEP MY WAYS. (Proverbs 8:32 RNWEB)

Blessed are those who keep his ways, this is not YAH talking. Now lets look back at what we read before, it was angels that gave the law and spoke the word. Scripture says in the beginning was the word and the word was with Elohim and the word was Elohim. We will elaborate on this further.

Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it. Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from YAH. (Proverbs 8:33-35 RNWEB)

The position and authority this Angel has is still secondary to YAH’s, whose always the final deciding factor and the one that always receives the glory.

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.” (Proverbs 8:36 RNWEB)

Theologians try to tell us this is Yahshua talking, however will see that’s impossible.

In recapping, we have what appears to be two divine entities, the one speaking says he has been around a long time as if he was brought up by the Father. We have also read that Yahshua said no one has ever heard the fathers voice or seen his shape.

I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things. I saw until thrones were placed, AND ONE WHO WAS ANCIENT OF DAYS SAT: HIS CLOTHING WAS WHITE AS SNOW, AND THE HAIR OF HIS HEAD LIKE PURE WOOL; HIS THRONE WAS FIERY FLAMES, [AND] THE WHEELS OF IT BURNING FIRE. (Daniyel 7:8-9 RNWEB)

Yahshua said no one has ever seen the father, so who is being described here? Keep in mind that it says his throne was fiery flames and the wheels of it burning fire.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. I saw at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I saw even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire. As for the rest of the animals, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. I SAW IN THE NIGHT VISIONS, AND BEHOLD, THERE CAME WITH THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY ONE LIKE A SON OF MAN, AND HE CAME EVEN TO THE ANCIENT OF DAYS, AND THEY BROUGHT HIM NEAR BEFORE HIM. (Daniyel 7:10-13 RNWEB)

No man has ever seen or heard the father, yet we have the “Ancient of days” being described and a vision of the Anointed [son of man] coming to the “Ancient of days” sitting on his thrown.

I saw, and the same horn made war with the holy ones, and prevailed against them; UNTIL THE ANCIENT OF DAYS CAME, and judgment was given to the holy ones of the Elyon, and the time came that the holy ones possessed the kingdom. Thus he said, The fourth animal shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. (Daniyel 7:21-23 RNWEB)

Remember the fiery flames and the wheels of burning fire as we read the next few verses.

It happened, when they had gone over, that Eliyahu said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you. Elisha said, please let a double portion of your spirit be on me. He said, You have asked a hard thing: [nevertheless], if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so to you; but if not, it shall not be so. It happened, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, [there appeared] A CHARIOT OF FIRE, AND HORSES OF FIRE, which parted them both apart; and Eliyahu went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2 Kings 2:9-11 RNWEB)

Eliyahu and Elisha are talking, and according to the proceeding verses all the prophets and their sons were coming to Elisha to tell him that Elohim was going to take Eliyahu from him. This was the reason Eliyahu told Elisha to ask what he will, he wanted to leave him a gift.

Pay close attention to the next verse.

Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, THE CHARIOTS OF YISRA’EL AND THE HORSEMEN OF IT! He saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and tore them in two pieces. (2 Kings 2:12 RNWEB)

Why would he say the chariots of Yisrael? When has Yisrael ever had a chariot that flew around in the clouds?

Now it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Kevar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of Elohim. In the fifth [day] of the month, which was the fifth year of king Yehoiakim’s captivity, the word of YAH came expressly to Yechezkel the Priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Kasdim by the river Kevar; and the hand of YAH was there on him. I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness round about it, and out of the midst of it as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire. Out of the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. This was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. Everyone had four faces, and each one of them had four wings. Their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot; and they sparkled like burnished brass. They had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings [thus]: (Ezekiel 1:1-8 RNWEB)
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: [the fire] went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. The living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. Now as I saw the living creatures, behold, one wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces of it. The appearance of the wheels and their work was like a bareket: and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel. (Ezekiel 1:13-16 RNWEB)
When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. WHEREVER THE SPIRIT WAS TO GO, they went; there was the spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. (Ezekiel 1:19-20 RNWEB)

First it says they went wherever the Spirit was to go, why wouldn’t it read wherever YAH was to go? Lets recap, we have the “Ancient of days”, a fiery throne, a fiery chariot, fiery wheels, and now in Ezekiel, he sees the same thing as Elisha and Daniyel saw only he’s being more descriptive.

Above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sappir stone; and on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man on it above. I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his waist and upward; and from the appearance of his waist and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of YAH. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke. (Ezekiel 1:26-28 RNWEB)

Yahshua and Yochanan told us no one has ever seen the father, whenever we have a vision, revelation, or encounter it is called a theophany, we have reviewed many accounts of this taking place, yet they always seem to be referring to YAH, but we know this can’t be, because the Anointed and Yochanan both knew the scriptures, yet they still said no one has ever seen the father or heard his voice.

My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore Elohim has blessed you forever. Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty. In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds. (Psalms 45:1-4 RNWEB)

Elisha called the name of Yisrael and described a chariot, in Daniyel we saw a throne with fiery wheels.

Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s enemies. Your throne, Elohim, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom. (Psalms 45:5-6 RNWEB)

We have already seen a fiery throne with a man described in both Daniyel and Ezekiel. There are numerous other references, however for this study we have presented enough to establish the facts.

You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore Elohim, your Elohim, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. (Psalms 45:7 RNWEB)

Why does it appear as if we have two gods in this verse? It’s because all angels are considered elohim. Elohim [AKA god] denotes someone of power and authority.

An Elohim was just anointed.

Listen, islands, to me; and listen, you peoples, from far: YAH has called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother has he made mention of my name: (Isaiah 49:1 RNWEB)

Much of what we read in Psalms and other places is really setting up a template or shell for Yahshua, but it’s being directed and operated by the Spirit. A Spirit is building this body and will take possession of it, many of these statements deal with the Spirit, however he will let Yahshua have the glory.

and he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me: and he has made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he kept me close: and HE SAID TO ME, You are my servant; YISRA’EL, in whom I will be glorified. (Isaiah 49:2-3 RNWEB)

Who is Yisrael? Elisha said the chariot of Yisrael took Eliyahu, and now Isaiah is documenting a conversation between YAH and another entity called Yisrael, a servant in whom YAH will be glorified. We need to remember in the book of Psalms we seen an Elohim being anointed.

But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely the justice [due] to me is with YAH, and my recompense with my Elohim. (Isaiah 49:4 RNWEB)

Elohim is a multi plural word being used to represent the divine order. Therefore, here he’s saying, surely my judgment is with YAH, and my work is with my order or family.

Who was he talking to? Was this Isaiah? No, when was Isaiah called Yisrael? Was he talking to Jacob whose sir name was Yisrael? No, Jacob was already dead at this point. Let look at what’s taking place.

Now says YAH who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Yisra’el be gathered to him (for I am honorable in the eyes of YAH, and my Elohim is become my strength); yes, he says, It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Yisra’el: I will also give you for a light to the nations [gentiles], that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth. (Isaiah 49:5-6 RNWEB)

Did Isaiah go to the nations? No. Did the Yisraelites go to the nations? No. Therefore, we disqualified this from being Isaiah, Jacob, and the nation of Yisrael. Did Yahshua go to the gentiles? No, he was called to the lost sheep of Yisrael, though his apostles went to the gentiles.

Elohim said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26 RNWEB)
In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. Elohim’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2 RNWEB)

At this time the planet was nothing but water, the earth was brought forth out of water. When the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the water they were creating and bringing forth what we see today from the water. This was the activity of the divine order in the beginning. We see this activity all through chapter one, however look how this begins to change as we proceed.

This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that YAH Elohim made the earth and the heavens. (Genesis 2:4 RNWEB)

It didn’t say anything about YAH in the beginning, however after the completion of the creation account it says in the day that YAH Elohim made the earth and the heavens. YAH Elohim simply denotes YAH and the divine order, the active players in a work. When you find Elohim it’s generally the angels going around doing things under the direction of YAH. When a work is completed, we will generally see that YAH created the design, gave the instructions, and the angels carried them out. This is the reason YAH says his word does not return to him void, but it shall accomplish that which he pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing he sent it to do. YAH doesn’t do anything but declare what he wants to happen. It’s very similar to an employer, employee relationship, we could compare YAH to an architect that draws up all the plans to the finest detail then sends his crew or workers out to build it.

No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for YAH Elohim had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground, but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground. YAH Elohim formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:5-7 RNWEB)

We have transitioned from everything being done by Elohim to it being done by YAH Elohim.

The man knew Chavah his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Kayin, and said, “I have gotten a man with YAH’s help.” (Genesis 4:1 RNWEB)

YAH was the only one that received credit in this instance, just as he does for all completed works, the reason we also have YAH Elohim in the creation of man is because the angels were the ones that created man under the direction and design that YAH provided, however it was YAH that gave man life. YAH is the father of all living entities, consequently an angel can create something but only YAH can give it life.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. (John 1:1 RNWEB)

The word is represented by angels, whether it be one or all of them. Therefore, the word is the spirit of Elohim that was in the beginning.

The same was in the beginning with Elohim. (John 1:2 RNWEB)

We will clearly show that this is not the Anointed being referenced.

All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it. There came a man, sent from Elohim, whose name was Yochanan. The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light. The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world. (John 1:3-9 RNWEB)

Yahshua said he was the light of the world. Lets look at this verse in the Jewish bible.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not suppressed it. There was a man sent from Elohim whose name was Yochanan. He came to be a testimony, to bear witness concerning the light; SO THAT THROUGH HIM, EVERYONE MIGHT PUT HIS TRUST IN ELOHIM AND BE FAITHFUL TO HIM. He himself was not that light; no, he came to bear witness concerning the light. This was the true light, which gives light to everyone entering the world. (John 1:5-9 CJB)

Yahshua came so everyone would put their trust and faith in the Father, not him.

He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become Elohim’s children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim. The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:10-14 RNWEB)
YAH your Elohim will raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me; to him you shall listen; according to all that you desired of YAH your Elohim in Chorev in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of YAH my Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die. YAH said to me, They have well said that which they have spoken. I WILL RAISE THEM UP A PROPHET FROM AMONG THEIR BROTHERS, LIKE YOU; AND I WILL PUT MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH, AND HE SHALL SPEAK TO THEM ALL THAT I SHALL COMMAND HIM. (Deuteronomy 18:15-18 RNWEB)

YAH was speaking to Yisrael telling them he would raise a prophet that would speak his words. This man like all the prophets before him would not be speaking of himself, he would only speak what he was told to.

It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, who shall speak a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other elohims, that same prophet shall die. If you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which YAH has not spoken? when a prophet speaks in the name of YAH, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which YAH has not spoken: the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you shall not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:19-22 RNWEB)

Lets see more on this prophet.

A shoot will come out of the stock of Yishai, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit. (Isaiah 11:1 RNWEB)
The Spirit of YAH will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAH. His delight will be in the fear of YAH. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears; (Isaiah 11:2-3 RNWEB)

This is the prophecy concerning the coming Anointed, if Christianity’s view is correct, and he’s preincarnate:

  • Why would he need a spirit to come on him if he’s already a spirit?
  • Why would he need the spirit of wisdom and understanding?
  • Why would he need the spirit of council and might?
  • Why would he need the spirit of knowledge?
  • Why would he need a fear of himself?

Would this make sense if we were dealing with a divine entity that existed from the beginning coming to earth?

The prophecy is that someone will come from the loins of David and YAH will place his spirit on this prophet giving him wisdom, understanding, council, might, knowledge, and a fear of YAH.

“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delights– I HAVE PUT MY SPIRIT ON HIM. HE WILL BRING RIGHT-RULING TO THE NATIONS. (Isaiah 42:1 RNWEB)

Now that we read the prophecy lets confirm it.

Yahshua, when he was purified, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of Elohim descending as a dove, and coming on him. (Matthew 3:16 RNWEB)

Yahshua came to Yochanan his cousin to receive his purification where he’s immersed in water, as he comes up out of the water the heavens were opened and the spirit of Elohim came down on him just as the prophecy foretold when it said, I’m going to place my spirit on him. Now according to Christianity’s view we have the Father coming down to possess himself, since they teach the man Jesus was sitting on the throne in heaven at the beginning of time.

Now it happened, when all the people were purified, Yahshua also had been purified, and was praying. THE SKY WAS OPENED, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT DESCENDED IN A BODILY FORM AS A DOVE ON HIM; and a voice came out of the sky, saying “You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:21-22 RNWEB)

This spirit is overlooked when they want to make Yahshua divine.

I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to immerse in water, he said to me, ‘ON WHOMEVER YOU WILL SEE THE SPIRIT DESCENDING, AND REMAINING ON HIM, THE SAME IS HE WHO IMMERSES IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.’ (John 1:33 RNWEB)

Yahshua has been purified and the spirit from above has come on him. Now we need to pay attention to how his conversations and words changed.

The Hebrews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, that he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come?'” He said to them, “YOU ARE FROM BENEATH. I AM FROM ABOVE. You are of this world. I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD. (John 8:22-23 RNWEB)

Who is talking here, is it Yahshua or the Spirit that dwells in him? Yahshua was born of a woman on earth, the spirit came from above, and now we have Yahshua after the spirit from above has entered him saying, he is from above. Didn’t the prophecy about the Anointed as stated in Isaiah say he would put his words in his mouth?

Yahshua said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, BEFORE ABRAHAM CAME INTO EXISTENCE, I AM.” THEREFORE THEY TOOK UP STONES TO THROW AT HIM, but Yahshua was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through the midst of them, and so passed by. (John 8:58-59 RNWEB)

The reason they wanted to stone Yahshua after he said before Abraham came, I AM [haYAH] was because he appears to be claiming divinity, and using the name of YAH as it was given to Moshe, a name only spoken once before in scripture in the first person, lets look at this.

Now Moshe was keeping the flock of Yitro, his father-in-law, the Priest of Midyan, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to Elohim’s mountain, to Chorev. THE ANGEL OF YAH APPEARED TO HIM IN A FLAME OF FIRE out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. (Exodus 3:1-2 RNWEB)

Notice it was the angel of YAH that appeared at the bush not YAH himself, remember no one has ever seen the father or heard his voice.

Moshe said, “I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.” When YAH saw that he turned aside to see, Elohim called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, “Moshe! Moshe!” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Don’t come close. TAKE YOUR SANDALS OFF OF YOUR FEET, FOR THE PLACE YOU ARE STANDING ON IS HOLY GROUND.” (Exodus 3:3-5 RNWEB)

We only find an angel saying “you are standing on Holy ground” twice in all the scripture. This had to be a powerful high ranking angel that spoke these words, lets see what else he said.

Moshe said to Elohim, “Behold, when I come to the children of Yisra’el, and tell them, ‘The Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you;’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What should I tell them?” Elohim said to Moshe, “I AM [haYAH] WHO [Asher] I AM [haYAH],” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Yisra’el this: ‘I AM [haYAH] has sent me to you.'” (Exodus 3:13-14 RNWEB)

This was the very same thing that Yahshua said to the Hebrews, and they wanted to stone him because YAH is the name of the Father given to Moshe by an angel. Why would Yahshua say this, was Yahshua the one saying it? No, it was the angel that dwelled in Yahshua that said this, which was the same angel that spoke to Moshe at the burning bush. We will validate this further, when an angel, a member of the divine order speaks, he’s acting as an agent of YAH.

Remember proverbs chapter eight, where it says, I was with YAH in the beginning, before the earth was formed, and I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him, rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.

This is an angel speaking through Yahshua, who was with the Father in the beginning, notice the angels delight was with the sons of men. We will see that the Anointed very seldom spoke in the scripture, man was always used as a vessel, and we will see the Spirit did all the talking because that was his role and responsibility. Man may have received the credit, but it was the Spirit doing the work, and the glory man received was credited to YAH. We will confirm all of this.

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, FOR YOU LOVED ME BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. (John 17:24 RNWEB)

Was this the spirit [angel] or Yahshua speaking?

As we continue on remember the dialog that were reading took place after Yahshua received the Spirit at his purification. He never talked like this before he received the spirit, and we even see where people that knew him were amazed at the change.

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.'” Yahshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, it wasn’t Moshe who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven. FOR THE BREAD OF ELOHIM IS THAT WHICH COMES DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN, and gives life to the world.” (John 6:31-33 RNWEB)

Who came down from heaven? It was the Spirit. Remember the scripture said IN HIM [Yahshua] is life.

They said therefore to him, “Master, always give us this bread.” Yahshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:34-35 RNWEB)

Yahshua is doing the same thing that the old testament prophets did, he’s prophesying, just look at the wording in Ezekiel, Isaiah, Zechariah, Jeremiah and the others. The Spirit spoke through these prophets with unique statements and words. Yahshua is doing the same thing, however the Spirit of Elohim is making these statements to these people to get everyone to believe in the vessel he has possessed. This is what needs to take place to inherit eternal life, we need to be purified in the name of Yahshua the Anointed.

But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe. All those who the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out. FOR I HAVE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day. This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” THE HEBREWS THEREFORE MURMURED CONCERNING HIM, BECAUSE HE SAID, “I AM THE BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN.” They said, “Isn’t this Yahshua, the son of Yosef, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, ‘I have come down out of heaven?'” (John 6:36-42 RNWEB)

The Hebrews could not understand his sayings, they knew Yahshua was born of Miriam and lived in their town, they watched him grow up, and now he’s saying things they know are not true, he had never spoken this way before his purification. This is because at his purification the heavens opened and a spirit descended and entered him. So, what takes place when a Holy Spirit possesses someone, what is the spirit doing?

Therefore Yahshua answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by Elohim.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to me. NOT THAT ANYONE HAS SEEN THE FATHER, EXCEPT HE WHO IS FROM ELOHIM. HE HAS SEEN THE FATHER. (John 6:43-46 RNWEB)

Pay close attention to verse forty six it’s important to our understanding of the divinity of Yahshua and will see it again. The verse is saying that no one has seen the father except, he that’s from Elohim. This means sent directly from Elohim in heaven, like the Spirit was that came on Yahshua.

Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die. I AM THE LIVING BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” The Hebrews therefore contended with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” Yahshua therefore said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don’t have life in yourselves. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:47-54 RNWEB)

Cannibalism, the eating of human flesh is forbidden in the law, however this is talking about Passover, the partaking of the body of the Anointed, an annual ritual that symbolizes the sealing of the new covenant, when we partake of the seal of the covenant which is Yahshua’s blood and body. We eat unleavened bread and drink wine, the wine symbolizes his blood and the unleavened bread symbolizes his body. This is what is being talked about and the Hebrews didn’t understand it, and they couldn’t until he sealed and confirmed the new covenant at his death.

For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven–not as our fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.” These things he said in the synagogue, as he taught in Peterr-Nachum. Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?” But Yahshua knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? THEN WHAT IF YOU WOULD SEE THE SON OF MAN ASCENDING TO WHERE HE WAS BEFORE? (John 6:55-62 RNWEB)

When did we ever see Yahshua in heaven, and if at some point he was, how did he get into Mariam’s womb? The law given in Genesis says a seed can only produce after its own kind, a man’s seed produces a man.

Remember John 6:46 which says, not that anyone has seen the father, except he who is from elohim. He has seen the father.

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,– (John 14:16 RNWEB)

Yahshua said he will send another Counselor, why would he say another? Because one was already present, he came down and entered Yahshua at his purification.

the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. YOU KNOW HIM, FOR HE LIVES WITH YOU, AND WILL BE IN YOU. (John 14:17 RNWEB)

Didn’t the Spirit take residence in Yahshua? Now it says the Spirit of truth lives with you [through Yahshua], and will be in you.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. (John 14:26 RNWEB)

Remember that it said in Isaiah the eleventh chapter that YAH was going to place his spirit on the servant that would proceed from David’s loins, called the branch, and the spirit would give him wisdom and understanding, counsel and might, knowledge and the fear of YAH. We have a man, and we have Spirit, the Spirit is coming down from heaven taking possession of the mans body, as confirmed in the book of John, when he said the Spirit dwelled in him.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from Elohim. He has seen the Father. (John 6:46 RNWEB)

Only angels proceeded forth from the father, man did not proceed from the father they were created from dirt, the dust of the ground.

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you. Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations. (Matthew 10:16-18 RNWEB)

Yahshua very seldom spoke, it was the Spirit that did most the talking in these documented epistles. Now he’s promising to send another counselor, and that it would dwell in them.

But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. FOR IT IS NOT YOU WHO SPEAK, BUT THE SPIRIT OF YOUR FATHER WHO SPEAKS IN YOU. (Matthew 10:19-20 RNWEB)

The Spirit of Elohim is given a mandate, and he uses a vessel, a righteous man that has been created and appointed for the task.

The scriptures were reading are the ones many religious leaders use to support the pre-existence of Yahshua, and it’s not even Yahshua talking, it’s the spirit residing in him that came down from heaven at his purification.

When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TEACH YOU IN THAT SAME HOUR WHAT YOU MUST SAY.” (Luke 12:11-12 RNWEB)
When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. FOR IT IS NOT YOU WHO SPEAK, BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT. (Mark 13:11 RNWEB)

Just as the Holy Spirit spoke through Yahshua, one would speak through his disciples. Remember the prophecy in Isaiah said that Elohim would raise a prophet from among men, this prophet would be one of them, and he shall speak all that I command. It was the spirit of Elohim speaking through Yahshua.

searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of the Anointed, which was in them, pointed to, when he predicted the sufferings of the Anointed, and the glories that would follow them. (1 Peter 1:11 RNEB)

Peter is telling us it was the Spirit of Elohim that worked through the prophets of antiquity.

To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who PREACHED THE GOOD NEWS TO YOU BY THE HOLY SPIRIT SENT OUT FROM HEAVEN; which things angels desire to look into. (1 Peter 1:12 RNWEB)

It was a Holy Spirit that was sent down at Yahshua’s purification that preached and taught, and Peter said that the gospel was being preached after Yahshua’s resurrection by the holy Spirit working in them. The disciple that had the spirit were not divine and neither was Yahshua who had the Spirit before them.

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation. (2 Peter 1:20 RNWEB)

We don’t have to interpret scripture, scripture interprets itself. We only need to continue to read and study, so if scripture says to keep the Sabbath, which means seventh day, we shouldn’t have to ask someone when it is, scripture already told us, there is no room for private interpretation.

For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: BUT HOLY MEN OF ELOHIM SPOKE, BEING MOVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. (2 Peter 1:21 RNWEB)

The Holy Spirit is the one who speaks, because he is the word, and he uses the mouth of the prophet to speak what he was commanded to say.

The hand of YAH was there on me; and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you. Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and behold, the glory of YAH stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Kevar; and I fell on my face. THEN THE SPIRIT ENTERED INTO ME, and set me on my feet; and he spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut yourself within your house. But you, son of man, behold, they shall lay bands on you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them: and I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be mute, and shall not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 3:22-26 RNWEB)

The Spirit had taken possession of his body and will shut his mouth, he is not going to say anything. Lets see what he does.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall tell them, THUS SAYS YAH ELOHIM: He who hears, let him hear; and he who forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 3:27 RNWEB)

The Spirit enters and the Spirit speaks, there is nothing new in the new testament, the process has always been the same. What happened to Yahshua has happened to all of the prophets, and the same thing occurred with the Apostles.

Now these are the last words of David. David the son of Yishai says, the man who was raised on high says, the anointed of the Elohim of Jacob, the sweet psalmist of Yisra’el: THE SPIRIT OF YAH SPOKE BY ME. HIS WORD WAS ON MY TONGUE. (2 Samuel 23:1-2 RNWEB)

When we go throughout the scripture we find that when Yahshua and the Apostles referred to David’s writings it was always in the context of “and David said by the Holy Spirit.” It’s the Spirit that speaks not man, man does not know what to say because he was not given the instructions from YAH, the angels received the instructions, and they spoke to men through men. It was no different with Yahshua, except he received glory as the one that would be the propitiator for mans iniquity. The Spirit entered his body to say and do specific things that would get Man to believe in him, because Yahshua would be the gateway to eternal life. It was necessary to accept him as the human sacrifice through water purification in his name, to this end one of the highest ranking Spirits in the divine order came in him to assure that this would be carried out.

The Elohim of Yisra’el said, THE ROCK OF YISRA’EL SPOKE TO ME, one who rules over men righteously, who rules in the fear of Elohim, (2 Samuel 23:3 RNWEB)

David is the one who spoke these words, however it’s the words of the Elohim of Yisrael.

[Mikhayahu] said, “Therefore hear you the word of YAH: I saw YAH sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left. (2 Chronicles 18:18 RNWEB)

Remember this is the “ancient of days” sitting on the thrown, we covered this in the beginning of the study, no one has seen YAH or heard his voice.

Mikhayahu is talking to Ahab and letting him know what has taken place, lets see what he says next.

YAH said, ‘Who shall entice Ach’av king of Yisra’el, that he may go up and fall at Ramot Gil`ad?’ One spoke saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner. There came forth a spirit, and stood before YAH, and said, ‘I will entice him.’ YAH said to him, ‘How?’ He said, ‘I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said, ‘You shall entice him, and shall prevail also: go forth, and do so.’ Now therefore, behold, YAH has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets; and YAH has spoken evil concerning you.” (2 Chronicles 18:19-22 RNWEB)

There were many that prophesied a good word over Ahab, this was because it was not them speaking but a lying Spirit speaking through them.

Then Tzidkiyahu the son of Kena`anah came near, and struck Mikhayahu on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of YAH from me to speak to you? (2 Chronicles 18:23 RNWEB)

This event is another example of angelic possession.

But some of the itinerant Jews, exorcists, took on themselves to invoke over those who had the evil spirits the name of Master Yahshua, saying, “We adjure you by Yahshua whom Sha’ul preaches.” (Acts 19:13 RNWEB)

Evil spirits are unholy spirits, fallen angels.

There were seven sons of one Skeva, a Jewish chief Priest, who did this. The evil spirit answered, “Yahshua I know, and Sha’ul I know, but who are you?” (Acts 19:14-15 RNWEB)

The spirit is speaking here, however it’s the mans mouth that was being used. The words being spoken are from knowledge that the unholy spirit inhabiting the man had, not the man himself, but it’s still the mans mouth and voice being used. The Spirit is unseen, however he manifests himself through a man by the works that he does.

The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. (Acts 19:16 RNWEB)

The Spirit using the mans body overpowered the sons of skeva and they ran away.

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works. (John 14:10 RNWEB)

Yahshua himself is saying he’s not doing the works, but it’s the Spirit working through him. We need to pay close attention to what Yahshua is saying about himself before we try to present him as a divine being, Yahshua never said he was the father or even that he was responsible for what he said or did, he always said it was by the Spirit that he did these things. We have seen numerous examples of the Spirit, holy and unholy speaking and working through men.

It happened in Iconium that they entered together into the Jewish synagogue, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed. But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers. Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in YAH, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. (Acts 14:1-3 RNWEB)

Lets see how they did these signs and wonders.

When they had arrived, and had gathered the assembly together, THEY REPORTED ALL THE THINGS THAT ELOHIM HAD DONE WITH THEM, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations. (Acts 14:27 RNWEB)
It happened, as we were going to prayer, that a certain girl HAVING A SPIRIT OF DIVINATION met us, who brought her masters much gain by fortune telling. (Acts 16:16 RNWEB)

Divination describes the primary work of this spirit, which is soothsaying. This is the same as the spirit of wisdom and understanding that was given to Yahshua, which provided him with great wisdom and understanding of the word of Elohim as one of his primary works. The difference between a holy and unholy spirit is whether that spirit is obedient to YAH or not.

Following Sha’ul and us, she cried out, “These men are servants of the El `Elyon, who proclaim to us the way of salvation!” She was doing this for many days. But Sha’ul, becoming greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I charge you in the name of Yahshua the Anointed to come out of her!” IT CAME OUT THAT VERY HOUR. (Acts 16:17-18 RNWEB)

When the Spirit was driven out the woman lost her ability to tell the future, this is because it was not her doing the work, it was the spirit that was in her.

Elohim worked special miracles by the hands of Sha’ul, (Acts 19:11 RNWEB)

Elohim performed special miracles through Shaul, man cannot do these things by himself, they are done through the divine order.

“Men of Yisra’el, hear these words! YAHSHUA OF NAZARETH, A MAN approved by Elohim to you by mighty works and wonders and signs WHICH ELOHIM DID BY HIM in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know, (Acts 2:22 RNWEB)

Elohim did all the signs and wonders, not Yahshua, again these were works of the Spirit that came on him at his purification. Notice something else, it says “Yahshua of Nazareth, a man,” Yahshua was called just a man, he was approved as a chosen vessel for a spirit to work through, but just a man nonetheless.

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire, BUT YOU PREPARED A BODY FOR ME; (Hebrews 10:5 RNWEB)

Yahshua is the body that was prepared and this verse is reiterating something spoken in prophecy by the Spirit of Elohim.

This is he who came by water and blood, Yahshua the Anointed; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO TESTIFIES [GIVES EVIDENCE], BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS THE TRUTH. (1 John 5:6 RNWEB)

Yahshua came by water and blood, water and blood is what terrestrial beings are made of, in other words mankind. It was the spirit of truth that was bearing witness, not flesh and blood. Therefore, we have Yahshua an obedient servant who was prepared as the perfect vessel to be used by the Spirit of truth, a high ranking angel in the divine order. This spirit came down from heaven and took possession of the body of Yahshua at his purification, and it began to give witness through the man.

He said, “Listen now, house of David: Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my Elohim also? Therefore YAH himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanu’el. (Isaiah 7:13-14 RNWEB)
Now the birth of Yahshua the Anointed was like this; for after his mother, Miriam, was engaged to Yosef, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Yosef, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly. But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of YAH appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Yosef, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Miriam, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Yahshua, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.” Now all this has happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by YAH through the prophet, saying, “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanu’el;” which is, being interpreted, “Elohim with us.” (Matthew 1:18-23 RNWEB)
Without controversy, the mystery of obedience is great: ELOHIM WAS REVEALED IN THE FLESH, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory. (1 Timothy 3:16 RNWEB)

Elohim was revealed in the flesh, means he exhibited his works through the flesh of a man. Yahshua always said it’s the father in me doing these works, we also know by Yahshua’s own words that no one has ever seen the father of heard his voice, a member of the divine orderwas always working as an ambassador of YAH in his behalf.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. The same was in the beginning with Elohim. (John 1:1-2 RNWEB)
The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14 RNWEB)

Remember we just read Elohim was revealed in the flesh, and now we see the word was made flesh. Now if Yahshua who is flesh is also Elohim, then who is the entity that possessed him at his purification manifesting himself through him as Elohim in the flesh? If this sounds confusing you get the point, it doesn’t make any sense! Yahshua could not have been Elohim, an agent of YAH dwelled in Yahshua and manifested himself through him.

Lets look at the facts according to scripture:

  • Yahshua, a man is prepared in righteousness.
  • When he reaches the age of thirty he goes to enter ministry.
  • He goes to Yochanan the purifier to be cleansed in water.
  • When he comes up out of the water the Spirit comes on him and dwells in him.
  • He was tried for forty days in the desert.
  • When he returned he went into the synagogue and read from Isaiah to the people and started his ministry.

When Yahshua returned, he was different, he talked with wisdom, understanding, and authority. This was because it was the Spirit dwelling in him that was speaking and using him as a vessel, a prepared body to perform the works and mandates of Elohim to introduce and seal the new covenant. The Spirit was speaking and working through him, just as we have seen with every other prophet documented in scripture since the beginning.

BUT ALL THINGS ARE OF ELOHIM, WHO RECONCILED US TO HIMSELF THROUGH YAHSHUA THE ANOINTED, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that ELOHIM WAS IN THE ANOINTED reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19 RNWEB)

Elohim was in Yahshua, remember the prophecy, his name shall be called Immanuel which means Elohim is with us, Elohim walked with the children of Yisrael for three and a half years, we read how he descended from heaven and took possession of the body of Yahshua, this is the reason the Psalmist said, “therefore Elohim your Elohim has anointed you with the oil gladness above all your fellows”. The reason he was anointed was to redeem Yisrael, and he can be our savior if we are keeping the commandments and have been purified in his name. This is the grace that YAH gave to us, which is written throughout the epistles. Yahshua was given his specific name because YAH-Shua means YAH saves, so when we are immersed in water in the name of Yahshua the Anointed were actually declaring, YAH is saving me through his Anointed. We are not being saved by man, man was just the instrument used to bring about salvation.

Yahshua was a flesh and blood man that was a chosen vessel for the Holy Spirit to do a work. This does not belittle Yahshua’s position, he did rise again on the third day, he is the king over Yisrael and when he returns and sits on his father David’s throne he will be the King over the entire Earth. He was declared to be the son of Elohim with power by the Spirit at his resurrection from the dead, when he received a new body, and was the first born of many brethren.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of Elohim, but the woman is the glory of the man. (1 Corinthians 11:7 RNWEB)
who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all creation. (Colossians 1:15 RNWEB)

This scripture seems to suggest he’s Elohim, because it says he was firstborn of all creation. Lets look at this in a more literal version that better maintains the original meaning.

He is the visible image of the invisible Elohim. He is supreme over all creation, (Colossians 1:15 CJB)

He is supreme over all creation simply means he represented the best of. The term firstborn in the Hebrew culture doesn’t always represent a numeric number, it also represents the best in quality. He is the best of them because he was the only one who walked without sin and has dominion and rule over all.

in whom the elohim of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF ELOHIM, should not dawn on them. (2 Corinthians 4:4 RNWEB)

Notice this does not say Yahshua was Elohim, but the image of Elohim, we already read in scripture that mankind is also the image of Elohim (1 Cor 11:7).

Elohim, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE AGES. His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have. (Hebrews 1:1-4 RNWEB)

The King James in verse two says world rather than ages which is not providing a proper understanding of what is being said. The verse is saying he brought the ages through Yahshua, lets look at the different ages starting from the first age when the Anointed was first prophesied.

  • Edenic Age – A prophecy of Yahshua first occurred during this time and there were various ages that followed that the prophecy was supported.
  • Patriarchal Age – Still dealt with bringing the Anointed on the scene
  • Ecclesiastical Age – Moshe and Yisrael.
  • Monarchial Age – The Davidic kingdom and the kings.
  • Redemption Age – Deals with the prophecies and the processes of redeeming Yisrael.
  • Restoration Age – Deals with processes and prophecies of restoring Yisrael
  • Messianic Age – Were in it now.
  • Theocratic Age – The coming Millennial reign

All these ages are bringing us closer to the Anointed, YAH created a time frame, it started in 4004 BC and runs through today. In the beginning we had dates that counted down to the Anointed and after the Anointed they started counting up. All these ages kept bringing us closer to the first arrival of the Anointed and now the second.

instructing us to the intent that, denying unobedience and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and reverently in this present age; (Titus 2:12 RNWEB)
But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. (Luke 20:35 RNWEB)

This is referring to the Theocratic age, it starts at the return of the Anointed when the dead in the Anointed are resurrected. This is when he will take his throne and rule over the entire earth.
