Yahshua Pre-Incarnate I

The purpose of this study is to analyze several scriptures used to support the theological point of view that Yahshua the Anointed existed in a pre-incarnate state before his birth through a woman.

We will answer the following questions:

  • Did Yahshua pre-exist?
  • Did Yahshua give the commandments to Moshe?
  • Was Yahshua the Elohim of the old testament?
  • Was Yahshua the one seen on the mount by the elders?
  • What does it mean when Yahshua said "I and my father are one"?

The objective of this study is to address the theological notion prevalent in Christianity that the Anointed [christ] has existed since the beginning of time and played an active part in events that occurred throughout biblical history.

This belief has erroneously nullified the position of the one true creator and Most High, YAH, redirecting the praise and glory that only he deserves to another.

Let’s first address if the Anointed [christ] was the Elohim of the old testament.

Moshe took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which YAH has made with you concerning all these words." Then Moshe, Aharon, Nadav, Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra’el went up. THEY SAW THE ELOHIM OF YISRA’EL. Under his feet was like a paved work of sappir stone, like the skies for clearness. He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Yisra’el. They saw Elohim, and ate and drank. YAH said to Moshe, "Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE TABLES OF STONE WITH THE LAW AND THE COMMANDS THAT I HAVE WRITTEN, THAT YOU MAY TEACH THEM." Moshe rose up with Yahoshua, his servant, and Moshe went up onto Elohim’s Mountain. He said to the elders, "Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aharon and Chur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them." Moshe went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of YAH settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moshe out of the midst of the cloud. The appearance of the glory of YAH was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Yisra’el. Moshe entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moshe was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. (Exodus 24:8-18 RNEB)

Let’s clarify who actually gave the commandments by the withness of the apostles in the New Testament.

"This Moshe, whom they refused, saying, ’Who made you a ruler and a judge?’--Elohim has sent him as both a ruler and A DELIVERER BY THE HAND OF THE ANGEL WHO APPEARED TO HIM IN THE BUSH. This man led them out, HAVING WORKED WONDERS AND SIGNS IN EGYPT, IN THE SEA OF SUF, AND IN THE WILDERNESS FOR FORTY YEARS. This is that Moshe, who said to the children of Yisra’el, ’YAH our Elohim will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. ’ This is he who was in the ASSEMBLY IN THE WILDERNESS WITH THE ANGEL THAT SPOKE TO HIM ON MOUNT SINAI, AND WITH OUR FATHERS, WHO RECEIVED LIVING ORACLES TO GIVE TO US, (Acts 7:35-38 RNEB)

It was an angel that appeared to Moshe in the bush, which was an ambassador of the Most High. This same angel dwelled with them there entire time in the wilderness. If this was the Anointed [christ] that would make him an angel, which becomes problematic as we will see.

You received the Torah [Law] AS IT WAS ORDAINED BY ANGELS, and didn’t keep it!" (Acts 7:53 RNEB)
For to which OF THE ANGELS did he say at any time, "You are my Son. Today have I become your father?" and again, "I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?" (Hebrews 1:5 RNEB)

Sha’ul made an important statement, he reveals to us that an angel was never told "today have I become your father." This means the Messiah [christ] could never have been an angel.

Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, "Let all the angels of Elohim worship him." Of the angels he says, "Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire." BUT OF THE SON HE SAYS, "Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom. (Hebrews 1:6-8 RNEB)

The Messiah could not have been the one on the mountain because it would be a complete contradiction of what we just read.

But WHICH OF THE ANGELS HAS HE TOLD AT ANY TIME, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?" (Hebrews 1:13 RNEB)

Sha’ul is telling us that the son has a position of authority that is greater than angels. We will clarify this point much further as we proceed and show it’s just not possible that the Messiah [Jesus] was the Elohim of the old testament.

We’re going to look at several popular scriptures that Christendom uses to try to prove the messiah has existed since the beginning of all creation and see what they mean in there proper context.

John 10:30, 14:7-11

I and the Father are one." (John 10:30 RNEB)

This is sited to identify the Messiah [Jesus] and the Father are the same entity.

If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him." Philip said to him, "Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us." Yahshua said to him, "Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ’Show us the Father?’ DON’T YOU BELIEVE THAT I AM IN THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER IN ME? THE WORDS THAT I TELL YOU, I SPEAK NOT FROM MYSELF; BUT THE FATHER WHO LIVES IN ME DOES HIS WORKS. BELIEVE ME THAT I AM IN THE FATHER, AND THE FATHER IN ME; or else believe me for the very works’ sake. (John 14:7-11 RNEB)

Let’s see what is really being said here without the preconceived ideas that are generally applied.

All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I AM COMING TO YOU. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, THAT THEY MAY BE ONE, EVEN AS WE ARE. (John 17:10-11 RNEB)

Yahshua is coming to the father in prayer, why would he do this if they were one in the same. Then we see that he prayed that the eleven disciples may also be one with the father as he is. Does this mean there are now twelve that are divine? Do you think it’s possible that when it says they are one it doesn’t mean physically the same being? For example the United states is one country, made up of different states, united to be one governmental body, however each state is different and unique, with there own governing bodies.

Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE; EVEN AS YOU, FATHER, ARE IN ME, AND I IN YOU, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US; that the world may believe that you sent me. (John 17:20-21 RNEB)

Based on what’s being taught about these verses in Christendom, we would now have to assume the Father is an angel, the son, and even the Apostles since they are all one. There is obviously something wrong with this teaching, you never hear these other verses being mentioned when this doctrine is being taught.

I IN THEM, AND YOU IN ME, THAT THEY MAY BE PERFECTED INTO ONE; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. (John 17:23 RNEB)

Scripture talks about all of them as one, no longer just the messiah and the father, but now the father, the Messiah, the Apostles, and all disciples.

Let’s see how this works.

YAH Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. He made the rib, which YAH Elohim had taken from the man, into a woman, and brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, AND THEY WILL BE ONE FLESH. (Genesis 2:21-24 RNEB)

They will be one flesh, however they are two individuals, but they are supposed to be performing in their operation as one.

FOR AS MANY OF YOU AS WERE PURIFIED INTO THE ANOINTED HAVE PUT ON THE ANOINTED. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN THE ANOINTED YAHSHUA. (Galatians 3:27-28 RNEB)

Sha’ul taught the assemblies to be of one mind with singleness of purpose. Anyone that entered the covenant with the purpose of serving the Most High obediently were all part of one body in the anointed.

This is he who came by water and blood, Yahshua the Anointed; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO TESTIFIES, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS THE TRUTH. (1 John 5:6 RNEB)

Man is made of two elements that allows him to live in this age and this system, water and blood.

For there are three who testify: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; AND THE THREE AGREE AS ONE. (1 John 5:7-8 RNEB)

Yahshua agreed with the father, by being obedient to the word of Elohim which was in him, the Apostles agreed with Yahshua, by also being obedient to the word of Elohim, so they are all operating as one. The common denominator always being obedience to the word of Elohim, his law. This is the reason he said, "that they may all be one; even as you, father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us."

"You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins." (Amos 3:2 RNEB)

The Most High established his covenant with Yisrael, and no one else.

Do two walk together, unless they have agreed? (Amos 3:3 RNEB)

This is a prophecy coming through Amos, who is speaking to the sons of Yisrael. The Most High is saying that they must become one, and the only way two can become one is if they agree. Remember the example of a man and woman, the two shall come together as one flesh. To be one with the father we must practice and be obedient to his word, the law, found in the first five books of the bible. If we're obedient to his commandments we are one with him, just as Yahshua is one with him. His laws are the standard we're expected to follow and they're the central point that binds us together with him. Everyone keeping this standard agrees with the father.

Colossians 1:14-19

in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins; who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM, AND FOR HIM. HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND IN HIM ALL THINGS ARE HELD TOGETHER. He is the head of the body, the assembly, WHO IS THE BEGINNING, THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him; (Colossians 1:14-19 RNEB)

Let’s compare this to other scriptures and see what it means.

Elohim spoke all these words, saying, "I am YAH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER ELOHIMS BEFORE ME. (Exodus 20:1-3 RNEB)

Elohim is the one and only G_d, Yahshua [Jesus] is often deitized, worshipped, and put in a position he can never have. All worship must go to the father or we’re breaking the first two commandments.

"I am YAH. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images. (Isaiah 42:8 RNEB)

We know that David, Hezekiah, Aaron, and Moshe were all glorified, but YAH was the glory of them all, and he does not give his glory to anyone else.

Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up." (Isaiah 42:9 RNEB)
"You are my witnesses," says YAH, "With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO ELOHIM FORMED, NEITHER WILL THERE BE AFTER ME. I myself am YAH; and BESIDES ME THERE IS NO SAVIOR. I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown; and there was no strange elohim among you. Therefore you are my witnesses," says YAH, "and I am Elohim. Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?" (Isaiah 43:10-13 RNEB)
This is what YAH, the King of Yisra’el, and Redeemer, YAH of Armies, says: "I AM THE FIRST, AND I AM THE LAST; AND BESIDES ME THERE IS NO ELOHIM. Who is like me? Who will call, and will declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? Let them declare the things that are coming, and that will happen. Don’t fear, neither be afraid. Haven’t I declared it to you long ago, and shown it? You are my witnesses. IS THERE A ELOHIM BESIDES ME? INDEED, THERE IS NOT. I DON’T KNOW ANY OTHER ROCK." (Isaiah 44:6-8 RNEB)

When we read in the book of colossians that Yahshua [Jesus] created the heaven and the earth, and he’s the first born of all creatures, then see a doctrine derived from this that says Yahshua was the first born of all things in heaven, can this be what Sha’ul was saying after we just read in several places that Elohim is one and there is no other? What we’re going to do is see if this is the case by properly contextualizing this verse in view of other scriptures to present a clear understanding of what Sha’ul is teaching.

I AM YAH, AND THERE IS NONE ELSE; BESIDES ME THERE IS NO ELOHIM. I will gird you, though you have not known me; that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, THAT THERE IS NONE BESIDES ME: I AM YAH, AND THERE IS NO ONE ELSE. (Isaiah 45:5-6 RNEB)
Declare you, and bring [it] forth; yes, let them take counsel together: who has shown this from ancient time? who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, YAH? and THERE IS NO ELOHIM BESIDES ME, A JUST ELOHIM AND A SAVIOR; THERE IS NO ONE BESIDES ME. LOOK TO ME, AND BE YOU SAVED, ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH; FOR I AM ELOHIM, AND THERE IS NONE ELSE. (Isaiah 45:21-22 RNEB)

YAH is telling us over and over there is no one else but him.

Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Yisra’el, that have been borne [by me] from their birth, that have been carried from the womb; and even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver. TO WHOM WILL YOU LIKEN ME, AND MAKE ME EQUAL, AND COMPARE ME, THAT WE MAY BE LIKE? (Isaiah 46:3-5 RNEB)
Remember the former things of old: for I AM ELOHIM, AND THERE IS NONE ELSE; [I AM] ELOHIM, AND THERE IS NONE LIKE ME; declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not [yet] done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure; (Isaiah 46:9-10 RNEB)
"Yet I am YAH your Elohim from the land of Egypt; AND YOU SHALL ACKNOWLEDGE NO ELOHIM BUT ME, AND BESIDES ME THERE IS NO SAVIOR. (Hosea 13:4 RNEB)

Now lets see what Sha’ul said before breaking down the verses in colossians.

and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Master Yahshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels IN FLAMING FIRE, GIVING VENGEANCE TO THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW ELOHIM, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Master Yahshua, (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 RNEB)

We have read through several books and scriptures, YAH has told us there is no one else but him and there won’t be one after him, We are to give all praise and worship to him for all things and no other. Now we have Sha’ul saying that mighty angels will take vengeance on those who don’t know Elohim, it doesn’t say those who don’t know Yahshua [Jesus]. We are to obey the teachings [good news] of Yahshua the anointed, not worship and deitize him.

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of YAH and from the glory of his might, when he comes to be glorified in his holy ones, and to be admired among all those who have believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day. (2 Thessalonians 1:9-10 RNEB)

We can see there is only one almighty Elohim, YAH. So lets go back now and re-examine colossians.

WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM, the firstborn of all creation. (Colossians 1:15 RNEB)
Elohim said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." (Genesis 1:26 RNEB)

Man was given authority over:

  • The fish of the sea, the waters.
  • The fowls of the air, the heavens [sky]
  • The earth.
Elohim created man in his own image. In Elohim’s image he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27 RNEB)

Man was given authority over the seas, the heavens just above the earth, and the earth itself. He was not given authority over the heavenly realm where the Most High dwells.

the son of Enosh, the son of Shet, the son of Adam, the son of Elohim. (Luke 3:38 RNEB)

Adam was the son of Elohim.

Elohim said, "Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." Elohim made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. Elohim called the expanse heaven [or sky]. There was evening and there was morning, a second day. Elohim said, "Let the waters under the heaven [or sky] be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;" and it was so. (Genesis 1:6-9 RNEB)
Elohim said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of heaven [or sky]." (Genesis 1:20 RNEB)

The birds are flying in the sky which was translated in some translations as heaven, so this is not talking about the place Elohim resides.

The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Elyon will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you WILL BE CALLED THE SON OF ELOHIM. (Luke 1:35 RNEB)
If he called them elohims, to whom the word of Elohim came (and the Scripture can’t be broken), do you say of him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ’You blaspheme,’ because I said, ’I AM THE SON OF ELOHIM?’ (John 10:35-36 RNEB)

Yahshua was perfect and sinless before Elohim, because he kept his laws. Adam was created perfect and sinless, and was also the son of Elohim.

WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM, the firstborn of all creation. (Colossians 1:15 RNEB)

Yahshua was the image of the invisible Elohim because he was without sin, perfect.

So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." THE LAST ADAM BECAME A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT. (1 Corinthians 15:45 RNEB)

The first son of Elohim committed a trespass, the second attained perfection by keeping the law of Elohim, and became the visible manifestation of Elohim.

However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, made of dust. THE SECOND MAN IS THE MASTER IN HEAVEN. (1 Corinthians 15:46-47 RNEB)

The second man is the master in heaven, not from heaven as some translations say.

who is the image of the invisible Elohim, THE FIRSTBORN OVER ALL CREATION. (Colossians 1:15 RNEB)

Yahshua is the first born OVER all creation not OF all creation as some translation render this verse. Christendom generally looks at the firstborn as being the first of Elohims creatures, and that’s not what Sha’ul is saying which will see as we continue.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16 KJV)

There are many Hebrew words that are polysemous, which simply means they have more than one possible translation. They occur all throughout the new and old testament. When the redactors and scholars would translate the scriptures they know that one word may have multiple meanings, and sometime they will chose a word that best fits there belief of what the verse should say, rather than the one that best flows with the context of scripture. In this verse the King James and some other translations say "For by him", the greek word should be translated "For in him". Let’s look at the proper rendering.

For in him all things were created, in the heavens [sky] and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created in him, and for him. (Colossians 1:16 RNEB)

What the verse is saying is that all things that were created in him, he’s going to be the fullness of, in other words he will have authority and dominion over it. The scriptures will bare witness to this as we continue.

Let’s further justify the meaning of "first born over all creation" and "for in him."

For he didn’t subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels. (Hebrews 2:5 RNEB)

He’s not giving the authority of the world to come to angels.

has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, WHOM HE APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS, through whom also he made the ages. (Hebrews 1:2 RNEB)

Yahshua was appointed heir of all things that man was given dominion over, which is water, heavens [sky], and earth.

For in him all things were created, in the heavens [sky] and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created in him, and for him. (Colossians 1:16 RNEB)

The heavens here are referring to the sky where the birds fly, which we have already shown.

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. YAH Elohim will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom." (Luke 1:32-33 RNEB)
and made them kings and priests to our Elohim, and they reign on earth." (Revelation 5:10 RNEB)
Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to Elohim, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power. (1 Corinthians 15:24 RNEB)
For in him all things were created, in the heavens [sky] and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions [kingdoms] or principalities [rulers] or powers [those in authority]; all things have been created in him, and for him. (Colossians 1:16 RNEB)

We need to understand what all things are, this does not include the angelic creatures dwelling in heaven, if it did it would nullify everything the Most High said from Genesis to Malachi.

Then the end comes, when he will deliver up THE KINGDOM to Elohim, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. For, "He put all things in subjection under his feet." But when he says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him. (1 Corinthians 15:24-27 RNEB)

Yahshua has complete dominion and authority over all things on the face of the earth as the King representing Elohim for 1000 years during the millennial reign, all this is completed or fulfilled in him, given unto him, for him.

When all things have been subjected to him, THEN THE SON WILL ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECTED TO HIM WHO SUBJECTED ALL THINGS TO HIM, THAT ELOHIM MAY BE ALL IN ALL. (1 Corinthians 15:28 RNEB)

At the end of Yahshua’s thousand year reign as king over the earth in the upcoming age, Elohim comes to earth and Yahshua’s authority as king will then be subjected to YAH who delegated the authority to Yahshua for that age.

HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, and in him all things are held together. (Colossians 1:17 RNEB)

What all things has he been talking about? He named these thing in verse sixteen, "whether thrones or dominions [kingdoms] or principalities [rulers] or powers [those in authority]." So he is over all things as it relates to authority, and through him all things stand or exist as it relates to his authority, and his authoritative role.

He is the head of the body, the assembly, WHO IS THE BEGINNING, THE FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18 RNEB)

The "beggining" it’s talking about is after his resurrection when he becomes the first born from the dead.

who is the image of the invisible Elohim, THE FIRSTBORN OF ALL CREATION. (Colossians 1:15 RNEB)

Yahshua is the firstborn from the dead, not from the beginning of all of Elohim’s creation. He’s literally the first man to receive a new resurrected body.

For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be THE FIRSTBORN AMONG MANY BROTHERS. (Romans 8:29 RNEB)
and from Yahshua the Anointed, the faithful witness, THE FIRSTBORN OF THE DEAD, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood; (Revelation 1:5 RNEB)

Yahshua received his preeminence at his resurrection, and he will receive his kingdom, where he sits on David’s throne for 1000 years after he returns to earth. Yahshua is currently in heaven reigning and operating as a priest and mediator that’s interceding in our behalf.

Sha’ul, a servant of Yahshua the Anointed, called to be an emissary, set apart for the Good News of Elohim, which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, WHO WAS BORN OF THE SEED OF DAVID ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, (Romans 1:1-3 RNEB)

Yahshua was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, he was just a man called as a prophet. This is covered in great detail in the series of article called The Man Yahshua.

FOR SINCE DEATH CAME BY MAN, the resurrection of the dead also CAME BY MAN. For as in Adam all die, so also in the Anointed all will be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21-22 RNEB)

Death came by man, and it was only by another man that he could be redeemed.

So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (1 Corinthians 15:45 RNEB)

Yahshua was not made a life giving spirit until his resurrection from the dead. He was the first man to become a new creation, receiving his immortal body. That’s why the scriptures say he was the first begotten of many brethren.

concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, who WAS DECLARED TO BE THE SON OF ELOHIM WITH POWER, ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, BY THE RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD, Yahshua the Anointed our Master, (Romans 1:3-4 RNEB)

He was declared to be the son of Elohim at his resurrection.

He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him; (Colossians 1:18-19 RNEB)

Summary

We have seen two major challenges when properly trying to interpret scripture:

  1. Dealing with errors made by the redactors.
  2. Correcting the many doctrines based on scriptures that are being read out of context.

The scripture must be looked at as a whole, it can’t contradict itself from the beginning of the book to the end. Will continue looking at other scriptures that are used to validate a pre-incarnate Messiah in part II.
